Theme: “Challenges and Actions for Health Promotion during Spread of Covid-19”
Aim: The spread of Covid-19 has not only impacted our health directly but also indirectly as it is anticipated to bring negative impact on health status as secondary effects of lifestyle changes in effort to reduce social contact and of financial difficulties due to suppression of business activity. At the time of social crisis such as natural disaster, the socially marginalized people tend to experience intensive disadvantages the most, and thus, the health gap increases. The spread of Covid-19 has posed similar scheme as reported globally.
Due to Covid-19 situation, the conference is held online this year unlike normal years. In light of challenges on SDH in time of Covid-19, the sessions are prepared to discuss the status quo and explore potential measures from the perspective of health promotion.
