“Implementation of Health Promotion to Healthcare and Nursing Care – for Upgrading of Health Services-”
Japan HPH Network has been promoting incorporation of health promoting activities to everyday practice of healthcare and nursing care, as we aim to improve the health standards of patients, users, community people and staff. We have especially stressed the importance of health promoting activities for closing health gap with focuses on SDH (Social determinants of health).
At global level, a new HPH self-assessment manual “2020 Standards for Health Promoting Hospitals and Health Services” was published by the International HPH Network, providing us foundation to assess the status of health promotion activities with multifaceted perspectives as well as to plan on improvements systematically.
Accordingly, this year’s conference will focus on the theme of “Implementation of Health Promotion to Healthcare and Nursing Care -for Upgrading of Health Services-”. In the sessions, we will hear reports on experiences of incorporating health promoting activities to healthcare and nursing care and will discuss what we can do more for “quality improvement toward equitable healthcare and nursing care services”.
